Agree with mande1191.  It is now February 2026.

Does Microsoft intend to allow Copilot M365 (school/work edition) visibility / capabilities to M365 *personal* account users?

Copilot notebook features such as the following are not available to PERSONAL users.

  • Add OneNote page
  • Add link
  • Add M365 Copilot chat
  • Add SharePoint folder
  • Add section
  • Cross‑service enterprise Graph indexing

These features are limited to work/school (Entra ID) accounts.

Personal users can create a copilot notebook... and can add *local* files.   But using the cloud features to reference other indicated sources are prevented.  This makes AI searching... ala "second brain" referencing of OneNote pages - entirely too complicated.
