Any update to this post from April 2021?
We have plans to sync the tasks created in Office docs to Planner (and by default to Tasks in Teams) but we don't have a committed timeline yet to share. Currently it triggers an email notification. When we do, we will be updating the public roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Planner.
Because, unless I'm mistaking, this is still not operational nor can I find it on the roadmap.
Any user story out there on which we can vote to bump this up a notch on the priorities list?
A whole world out there would really benefit from a unified Planner/To Do experience throughout the different Ms Applications, especially between the Office Applications' review functionality and Planner.
