I, for one do not like the current behavior of callouts. The new behavior of having to turn off snap and glue to reposition a callout is totally unacceptable to me. The number of keystrokes needed to reposition a callout is a ridiculous waste of time. Now I have been having the callouts all reposition themselves at the bottom or side of a drawing when I open the drawing. I have a significant number of callouts on many of my drawings and finding their proper location and going through the process of repositioning them and changing the arrow etc. is annoying and just a wrong behavior for a professional drawing program, if, in fact that is still the purpose of this software. If there is a workaround, I would appreciate knowing about it. And I would like to know why there seems to be a move away for supporting technical drawings like mine. Some personal attention by Microsoft to a long time customer of this product would be appreciated.
