MicrosoftI tried the apps, and at first glance they look interesting and it’s nice to have them back.
I genuinely enjoyed having standalone People and Calendar apps since the Windows 8 days, so it was disappointing when they were merged into the Mail app and later replaced by Outlook (New) as the single answer. Having said that, please try to be consistent about whether standalone People and Calendar apps are meant to exist alongside Outlook, or if Outlook is intended to be the all-in-one hub. Frequent changes in direction make it confusing for users and disrupt the muscle memory built over years.
Also, while I appreciate the new experiences, it feels a bit odd that the companion app isn’t available through the Microsoft Store and instead requires a separate installer. A clearer, more unified approach would be much appreciated.
