MicrosoftHey Linda_C I am sysadmin and hella confused about these terms used. We still use Office 2016, planning to migrate to Microsoft 365 later this year. We are however confronted by "Outlook (New)" on Windows 11 machines. Is this where your blog is about? Our servicedesk is getting flooded by users who are starting this "Outlook (New)" client and run into walls since it doesn't support our environment. It also seems to not work with our test Microsoft 365 accounts, maybe a licensing thing? This whole thing is confusing as hell, even for a professional. Is "Outlook (New)" the new Outlook Express? How do we disable this in Enterprise environments? I assume it's one of those 'app' right?
