Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Case Builder for small or medium sized businesses

Wondering what productivity gains from AI could mean for your small or medium sized business? We’re excited to launch the Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Case Builder that helps small and medium sized businesses estimate a three-year return on their investment. Based on findings from Forrester’s New Technology: Projected Total Economic ImpactTM, for a composite organization of up to 2,500 employees, you can see how Copilot can benefit your business across customer service, sales, marketing, and employee retention, and what it could mean for annual revenue and cost savings.

Pay-as-you-go billing setup for agent usage in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

Admins can now set up pay-as-you-go billing for agents in Copilot Chat from the Microsoft 365 admin center. Admins with Global admin or AI admin roles can set up and manage billing directly within the Microsoft 365 admin center without navigating to the Power Platform admin center. Instead, admins can set up billing by logging into the Microsoft 365 admin center and navigating to Copilot > Settings > Copilot pay-as-you-go services > Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. From there, they can simply select an Azure subscription, resource group, and region. Once this is set up, users without a Microsoft 365 Copilot license can use agents inside of Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat on a consumption basis. This feature rolled out in March.

Use Copilot during Teams calls without turning on transcription or recording

Now users can use Copilot during live call sessions without retaining a transcript or audio recording afterward. This ensures that users benefit from Copilot during sensitive conversations where a persistent record is not desired. Once an admin has enabled this option, users can initiate Copilot without transcription or recording simply by tapping the Copilot button in the header menu. Copilot in Teams Phone helps automate important administrative tasks during calls, such as capturing key points, task owners, and next steps, so users can focus on the discussion. This feature is available in Public Preview in March, and will roll out in May.

Rich content and flexibility for Copilot Pages

Users can create a variety of rich artifacts in Copilot Chat using work or web data. They can use code blocks to assist with creating technical designs, mermaid diagrams to illustrate business processes, tables for efficient data analysis, or interactive charts to make complex information easier to understand. They can add this rich content to Copilot Pages to further edit and refine with Copilot and colleagues. Pages shared in Microsoft 365 are interactive and automatically synchronized for seamless collaboration. This feature is rolling out in April

Users now have more flexibility when adding content to Copilot Pages. They can insert Copilot responses into a new or existing Page or apply responses across multiple Pages within a single chat. Learn more about this feature, which rolled out in March.

Access data from the web with Copilot in Excel

Users can now seamlessly search the web directly within Copilot in Excel to find public information like dates, statistics, and more without disrupting their workflow or leaving Excel. For example, users can look up a list of countries and their exchange rates and integrate the results into their workbook as a table. Learn more about this feature, which rolled out in March.

Use Copilot agents in Copilot Chat in Outlook

Users can now access agents within Copilot Chat when they are accessing Copilot in new Outlook. Now, users can use agents to automate and execute business processes without having to leave Outlook. This feature rolled out in March

Gain insights from images from your OneDrive folder with Copilot

The latest Copilot in OneDrive capability enables users to ask questions directly about the content of their images. This means users no longer need to manually sift through images to find the information they need. They can simply select an image, ask a question, and Copilot will provide the relevant details. This feature rolled out in February.
