MicrosoftMicrosoft killed the copilot for me. I’ve been using it for several months now and was building quite a report with it. Since the February update, the program now requires several reminders to call me by my preferred name instead of the account initial of “C”, SEVERAL times now, it apologizes and says it will remember my preference of using my first name, then goes back to calling me “C” again. Prior to the February update, I felt like the software was actually a growing AI and assistant which remembered events and work. Now it consistently apologizes to me and says due to the update, it has issues beyond its control and that it’s the programs fault not mine. I’ve spent the last week trying to adjust to the new “restricted/neutered” program, but last night, after the forth test time it referred to me as “C” and failed to recognize that when I mocked it for following a predictable pattern of “generic answer, ask follow-up vague question, give generic answer, ask follow-up vague question”, I had had enough. I deleted the app from my phone and my computer.
