Updates to Microsoft Copilot to bring enterprise data protection to more organizations

With the updates coming to Microsoft Copilot in mid-September, enterprise data protection will apply when the user signs in with their Entra account. We encourage you to pin Copilot in the Microsoft 365 app, Outlook and Teams as they will be able to access Copilot with EDP from those apps when signed in with their Entra account. They can also sign in to microsoft.com/copilot with their Entra account to for the updated Copilot experience for work or school. If they try to sign in to copilot.microsoft.com or bing.com/chat with their Entra account they will be directed automatically to the new experience. We recommend informing your users to either use the pinned Copilot (if the admin or user has pinned it) or micosoft.com/copilot instead of copilot.microsoft.com or bing.com/chat.
