Dream Destination Step-by-Step Instructions
Before you get started, it’s important to note that all of these prompts should be completed in one single Copilot Chat conversation. The project takes about 20 minutes to complete and you can take a break and come back, but it’s important to leverage the same chat so the context remains active. You can locate previous chats in your Copilot Chat history.
Step 1: The Concept – Ignite your creativity
Imagine a place you know well—now begin to imagine how you can transform that place into something extraordinary. Start with someplace common like a coffee shop, hotel, library, or fitness club. Now think about a theme or aesthetic—maybe it’s tranquil, futuristic, or gothic. Third, pick an unexpected location you’d like to put this place, like a rainforest, outer space, or even a fairytale. Remember, the sky’s the limit, push the boundaries and think way outside the box.
Come up with these three items on your own and move on to step 2 or use this prompt in Copilot Chat:
“I’m working on a project that will transform a common place into a new and exciting destination. Give me a creative list of 10 ideas that each include a common place, a creative aesthetic theme, and a creative location like outer space, a fairytale land, or a rainforest.”

Step 2: The Context – Define Copilot’s role in this project
Now that you’ve got your starting elements, it’s time to set the context for Copilot so it understands what the project is and the role it will play. Think of this as a job description for Copilot—it will work as your own personal architect on the destination of your dreams. Now, put it to work!
Enter this prompt into Copilot Chat:
“You are an extraordinary experiential designer who can craft unique, immersive experiences that create unforgettable moments for patrons. You create unforgettable journeys through a masterful combination of captivating soundscapes, mesmerizing visuals, and carefully curated environments. Your creativity knows no limits as you imagine destinations that weave together the smallest details into a thematic tapestry. You will help me with the creation of a new experience.”
Copilot will likely respond asking for more details. We’ll cover those in the next step.

Step 3: The Exterior – Imagine your first space

“The project will be to create a [insert your place] with the theme of [insert your theme] in [insert your location]. [Add any additional details, like mysterious, hidden in a tree, with a view of Earth]. Create a paragraph with a travel marketing tone and embellish the details to bring this idea to life. Do not give the idea a name but include the destination experience and what makes it unique.”
Great, you have your description! Now it’s time to imagine what the exterior would look like. Get creative with your first glance by asking Copilot to create an image using this prompt:
“Create an image that visualized the exterior of this destination from a distance.”
Copilot will provide multiple images to choose from. Pick your favorite and download it. You will use this image again later.

Step 4: The Entrance – Make your first impression
Sample image of the EntranceWhen people come to visit your dream destination, the entrance is their first stop, so it’s key to wow them with their first impression. Let’s use Copilot Chat to brainstorm some ideas using this prompt:
“Let’s think about the entrance for this destination. It should embrace the theme and be a memorable experience for the visitor’s first impression. Suggest five ideas for the entrance of this destination. This part of the project is called “The Entrance.”
Defining this part as “The Entrance” will come in handy at the end of this project. You will do this in the next few steps as well.
Let’s choose one of the five ideas from the previous prompt and add more details. Use this prompt:
“I like the idea of [choose favorite description from list] you suggested. [Add any additional details like “Let’s envision it with during sunset]. Can you elaborate on it?”.
Now that you have a description, imagine visitors flipping through a travel magazine to find their next vacation. How would it be described? Let’s ask Copilot to rewrite it in the form of a travel magazine article using this prompt:
“Rewrite that description in a tone that you’d find in a travel magazine. Keep it to a single paragraph.”
Next, ask Copilot to create an image of your entrance using this prompt:

Think about the vibe, seating, windows, lighting, and all the other important details that pull a space together.
Define this space of your destination in Copilot Chat by using this prompt:
“We are now going to work on the part of the project called “The Feature.” Given what you know about this destination, suggest 5 unique interior features or spaces that people might visit to spend time and enjoy. List them with the name, followed by the description. Follow this formatting example:

Once you’ve chosen your favorite name for the feature, make the visualization a reality by asking Copilot to create an image using this prompt:
