MicrosoftEven with DLP how can my business really trust Microsoft when you say our data won't be shared outside of the CoPilot we are to use? It seems almost monthly, for years now, I get notified of data (logs, temp files, etc) being shared outside our tenant by bugs in Microsoft's systems, so why would I trust the CoPilot team to do any better?

Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot chat offer the same Enterprise data protection (EDP) available in our Microsoft 365 commercial offerings. This means that your prompts and responses are secure and private to you. The prompts and responses are also audited and logged, and you can create retention and deletion policies to delete them according to your organization’s rules and regulations. In addition to prompts and responses, web search queries also have their own data handling practices that guarantee they are not shared with advertises and are not used to train our foundation large language models.
