MicrosoftI am (have been) in the same position as you are. However, some weeks ago i checked, and the renewing process was available for me (beeing located in munich, germany). So i can only guess, at least developers that have already been onboarded during the beta can use the service without problems. I certainly do it.

I have seen the “renew” button and have tried to renew my Trusted Signing account many times but each time it has been rejected with the message “Sorry, you do not meet requirements to create a Verified ID at this time”.
My problem is that my phone went dead and I have not been able to restore my Microsoft Authenticator account even though I had previously enabled “Cloud Backup”. So I have lost my previous Verified ID and would need to create a new Verified ID but now it has been rejected because I am in the EU (Hungary), not in the US.
So sad, because Trusted Signing is perfect, cheap and easy to use, no idea why MS revoked it from EU devs.
But at least MS should give some info whether it will be available at all and if so, when. I could wait a few weeks but it is maybe 1-2 years?? Who knows, and this is the problem.
Yes, i agree that communication regarding this service is very bad.
