It is a good decision not to sunset AIP viewer for iOS & Android as customers are heavily dependent on handheld devices for consuming encrypted content.
What's Microsoft recommendation on running enterprises with coexistence of built-in labelling and Microsoft Purview Information Protection client. As the clients are getting deprecated aggressively, can we still run the MIP clients for next couple of years to give them the same customer experience till there is a workaround?
Also, as Microsoft purview scanner heavily depends on client for its discovery scans, what's the plan to support the last version of Purview Information Protection client 2.14.90.0?
Though it is ideal to take off plug-in's for better stability and performance, these clients can give an additional benefit of logging user activities, which are critical in support cases. Can built-in labelling still log labelling and classification activity ?
