Michael_JencIn our experience, a DCOM connection to a remote COM+ application will only work in a domain environment anyway. Therefore, we have still only been able to suggest rollbacks to our customers so far, but many would rather hold out for a fix than rollback, which is problematic if the computer comes with Windows 11 24H2 out of the box. I am waiting to see whether the December updates from Microsoft alleviate any of this but I suspect not. We have a side issue where our test VM can't even login as the domain user, only a local account. (Error received is "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service") We can login fine as local user but then of course wouldn't be able to connect anyway as not using a domain account. There is a seperate thread on the Microsoft Community covering this but none of the suggested fixes have worked for us so far. I'm not able to include the URL in this reply but try searching "Windows 11 24H2 can't join domain".
