Microsofthi thanks for the nice article. Can i use az relay and bridge between az vm and on-prem as well without vpn? If possible i wonder if i can use this solution instead of vpn because in some environments azure resources need to connect on-premises resources like database and api service. Thanks
Yep, based on what you’ve shared, I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t use Relay with AZBridge to connect a cloud VM to on-prem. As long as the client is running and the Hybrid Connections are set up, it should work without any issues. In the GitHub there is an example how to set up a database connection with ease https://github.com/Azure/azure-relay-bridge/tree/master/examples/sqlserver. Of course, this is just one example of a use case you could utilize this capability with.
