I am trying to install Azure Password Protect, but am unable to force the Proxy server to use our environments HTTP Proxy. We have a very strict (unavoidable) policy, that servers must exit the network, via the proxy. I have set the system proxy using netsh winhttp, and that is fine, I have the AzureADPasswordProtectionProxy.exe.config created, using the correct proxy server details. Yet when I restart the DC Service, I get the error that it (The azure Password Protect Proxy server) is unable to resolve Login.microsoftonline.com... Wireshark, shows that traffic is trying to use the Azure Password Proxy box to resolve the address, and no traffic ever hits the Environment HTTP Proxy...
I even added the system proxy as a secondary DNS server in the NIC config.. same result.
All the registration is complete (forest and proxy) and comms between the DC and Proxy are fine. Just comms out to azure is failing.
Any ideas?.
TIA
Ian.
