DDI-ACartagena - Connector doesn't currently have multi-node deployment support. It's something on our backlog and is logged as a feature request here on https://aka.ms/UPIdeas.

 

Some strategies that may be adopted for better Print resilience are:

  1. If a printer has direct Universal Print support, then add the printer directly.
    1. For Ricoh PrintUP app - refer to the Ricoh website: https://aka.ms/Ricoh-PrintUP and https://aka.ms/Ricoh-PrintUP-Guide 
  2. Install connectors on VMs when possible. Back up the VMs. If the physical VM host fails, restore the connector VM. 
  3. Divide printers among multiple connectors. Especially in the same physical location (e.g. building). For example, in a building with 2 floors, install half the floor 1 printers and half the floor 2 printers on one connector. Install the rest of the building printers on another connector. If one connector fails, the user will still be able to find printers on the same floor.
