Using Intune to manage purpose-built specialty devices without Google Mobile Services (GMS)
Has there been any updates on this? Is it in the Microsoft Intune Roadmap to implement Android Enterprise support for AOSP (Android Open Source Project) devices within EndPoint Manager and its device policy controller?
This has been implemented by other MDM providers such as Airwatch (now known as VMWare WorkspaceOne), Blackbery UEM and Soti MobiControl so they are able to enroll the Realwear headsets as Android Enterprise devices
While it is true that we can use Device Admin for now, there are capabilities that we can only get with Android Enterprise specifically having devices enrolled that can use Azure AD Shared Device mode:
