Hi r3vqu, ph1dft, and f_wangdahl,
Thank you all for the feedback! On devices running Android OS 9 and higher, you can choose to display the system status bar or an MHS virtual status bar.
Documentation on the system status bar can be found here: Corporate-owned Android Enterprise device restriction settings in Microsoft Intune. If you would like to hide the system status bar, ensure System notification and information is set to Not Configured. If you would like to display the system status bar, ensure System notification and information is set to Show system information in device's status bar or Show system notifications and information in device's status bar. The system status bar will display while any app is running within MHS. The visibility of the system status bar does not impact the height of the MHS top bar. The system status bar is only available on devices running OS 9.
Documentation on the MHS status bar can be found here: Configure the Microsoft Managed Home Screen app. To modify the visibility of the MHS status bar, you can toggle the MHS configuration Battery and Signal Strength Indicator bar. If you would like to hide the MHS status bar, ensure Battery and Signal Strength Indicator Bar is set to False. If you would like to show the MHS status bar, ensure Battery and Signal Strength Indicator Bar is set to True. The MHS status bar will only appear on the MHS launcher home page. Removing the MHS virtual status bar will decrease the height of the MHS top bar.
Thanks!
