Hi LDavis420. If you're just beginning your journey, first, awesome and welcome aboard. Next, for your question here, this almost certainly is completely moot for you. The scenario being detailed in this post is relatively specific and somewhat niche. It was originally intended as a path to reimage devices to Windows 10 using ConfigMgr that were running older versions of Windows (mainly Windows 7) and bootstrapping them directly into Autopilot as part of that reimaging process. There are of course other possibilities, but this was/is the primary scenario here. If your devices are not running Windows 7 (which of course went out of support many years ago), then we don't generally recommend using the Autopilot for existing devices functionality but instead use Intune and Windows Update for Business (or Autopatch) to upgrade your devices to Windows 11 and use of the standard methods to register the devices for Autopilot (or the new corporate identifiers for Windows functionality).
