Support tip: Upcoming changes for deploying Windows Autopilot for existing devices

Hi Intunestuff, this change is unrelated to the join type used for the device during Autopilot and does not impact that functionality in any way, however, we do (and have for multiple years now) strongly suggest that orgs avoid using hybrid join for newly provisioned Windows endpoints and in particular with Autopilot. In general, most orgs can move to [full] Entra join for their newly provisioned Windows devices with no loss of functionality bringing them further on their zero trust journey and immediately increasing their overall security posture. If you do still have a requirement for hybrid join for new devices, we'd love to hear about it and we recommend you continue using your traditional on-prem provisioning processes for devices where this is required as using hybrid join is an on-prem scenario.
