I can see this having more practical use if managed Apple IDs had the "Find my" function. Example a user could track their lost device or a trusted friend or colleague who they have shared details with.  I don't see many occasions when a user is going to add a personal Apple ID on a corporate supervised device.  We used to get odd users who added a personal Apple ID but that was before we setup managed Apple IDs using Apple Business Manager.
