We have a new online troubleshooter that helps you understand and resolve problems you may encounter when setting up and using the Intune on-premises Exchange connector. Whether you have a problem you’re trying to fix, or you’re simply getting ready to implement the Intune on-premises Exchange connector in your environment, we'd encourage you to check out the guide and documentation linked below:
- Troubleshooting the Intune On-Premises Exchange Connector
- Documentation on installing the connector is here
This troubleshooter includes solutions for most common errors, tips for troubleshooting problems with the notification email, and a section that explains the overall process flow.
In case you're not familiar with the scenario in which you'd use this feature, in an on-premises Exchange Server environment, Intune conditional access can be used to allow or block access to Exchange on-premises mailboxes. To do this, you must configure the Intune on-premises Exchange connector and create device compliance policies for your users. Then, when a device attempts to connect to Exchange, Intune determines if the device is enrolled in Intune and is compliant with those policies you set before allowing access.
Whether you have a problem you’re trying to fix, or you’re simply getting ready to implement the Intune on-premises Exchange connector in your environment, I’d encourage you to check out the troubleshooting guide.
