As for coprorate-owned (supervised) iOS devices, the "Uninstall apps" section states that you can simply uninstall an app by adding the iOS app with an Uninstall assignment.
How is this possible when the app was not originally installed by Intune and is not managed? If I am not mistaken, app uninstall works only for managed apps (even on supervised devices).

As for "Corporate owned device with work profile", DPC is NOT device owner, DPC is only profile owner with some extra device level permissions (enhanced profile owner). It owns the work profile and it is also possible to blacklist or whitelist applications for the PERSONAL profile.
It is really confusing you states that "With this enrollment method, the work profile is often referred to as the “personal profile”."
There is a separate work profile and a personal profile. App restrictions can be configured for the PERSONAL profile.
