-Rice- I definitely have some questions for you, cause I updated my phone to C.18 on the evening on 7/10/2022 and, after a reboot, all this morning phone still refuses to go past the point of attempting to register the device in intune. It hangs and never reaches the point of using the authenticator to complete enrollment and/or allow me access to my work apps [despite my device showing as active in my microsoft account]. 1. When you enrolled again, did you completely delete your work profile from your phone first and start over, or did you just attempt to sign into Intune again? [I've been completely deleting my work profile from my phone]
2. In your work microsoft account, did you delete your Microsoft Authenticator settings for your phone from the "Security info" page online? [I haven't done this step yet as I'm afraid it will put me in some permanent limbo where my phone could never rejoin my work org again]
3. On your "Devices" page for your work microsoft account, does it show only the one device enrolled, or do you have multiples like me? [I have 3 devices listed, all representing the same single phone, which looks like it's either from the 2 times that I completely removed my work profile from my phone and tried starting over, or corresponding to the 2 updates I may have received since first purchasing this phone. Also my initial attempts to work with my workplace's IT support to see if any more info on the backend for intune and its functionality can be shared, but my last efforts to do so back in April were futile]
4. Have you had success communicating with your workplace's IT support to get more insight on how your enrollment process functions? Are there any general (non-confidential) steps that they had you try that aided in your process to re-enroll again?
Thanks for sharing that C.18 worked for you. I'm only planning to spend this week troubleshooting these company portal/intune issues (i've wasted so many hours this year on this) before I throw in the towel and assume that my work device, that my workplace is paying monthly for, is basically a fancy, expensive dumb brick that I can't use for work at all.
