Thanks for sharing your feedback, and we understand the frustration around the license requirements to complete administrative tasks like this, especially in customer support scenarios. We’ll be sure to share this feedback with the relevant teams for awareness. Regarding the Intune connector, as noted in the article, the legacy connector that runs under the local SYSTEM account is no longer recommended and will no longer be available for download from Intune as of late June 2025. Although existing deployments may continue to function, the connector has been out of support and for this reason, the guidance has been to move to the newer Intune Connector for Active Directory. That said, we’re glad to hear you were able to update successfully, and your feedback will be taken on board.
