I know this is an old article, but i just had to install new connector for one customer we are supporting and i am not a fan of Intune license requirement for an administrative task. Intune Administrator role should be enough. We don't have licenses with our admin accounts at customer tenants. This customer didn't have any free license, so had to scramble and find a user to give Intune Admin role to and for them to login into connector installer wizard. I was lucky it was our own first line admin who had full account with them. Also, they said old connector worked for them in October and just stopped working recently. So, was there an unofficial postponement of old connector deprecation? Oh, and this wizard should not just quit every time it runs into an error, so i don't have to run it again to retry. Weird design choice. Logon as a service requirement could also be mentioned in the article and not only in the linked document. When Autopilot is already setup i don't need that big document just to reinstall the connector.
