Announcing new Windows Autopilot onboarding experience for government and commercial customers

This might be a dumb question & long shot but, does Windows Autopilot device preparation support deploying configuration profiles during OOBE?
I've read step-by-step tutorial on offical docs (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/autopilot/device-preparation/tutorial/user-driven/entra-join-workflow) but all they seemed to concern were scripts and apps, and seemingly nothing on configuration profiles.
Can I assume that if I assign profiles to device group like scripts and apps, they will be deployed during this new Windows Autopilot device preparation OOBE as well? Or they are not supported in this phase.
