Mainframe products such as IBM CICS, IMS, MQ, DB2, Informix, VSAM, SNA have been evolving over the last 30-40 years—and so has Microsoft. In 1993 Microsoft released its first product to provide integration with IBM host systems. This product evolved into Host Integration Server, which has been providing core mainframe and midranges integration capabilities for our strategic customers.
We have incorporated the core Host Integration Server features into Azure Logic Apps so our customers can leverage native Mainframe and Midranges integration capabilities.
In this video Harold Campos, Principal Program Manager for Azure Integration Services is joined by Uli Homann, Distinguished Architect and Corporate Vice President in Cloud and AI at Microsoft Corporation for a discussion about the Cloud Native capabilities that the Azure Cloud has for Mainframe and Midranges via Azure Logic Apps.
