Hi Microsoft team,

 

Currently, I am working on Logic App (Standard) and facing designer slowness since I started working on the Standard version. I raised a support ticket #2207130040003368 to Microsoft in and ticket July 2022 month and the ticket is still open as this issue still not resolved.

 

As per the MS support engineer, We have collected some portal logs over the call. I will analyze them and inform product group. Since this is a known behavior in Standard logic app, I don’t expect an immediate change. Please note, that there is no latency or delay in the runtime due to this. This is only affecting development of large workflows with designer from the portal.

 

Kindly help me to understand this new preview designer in a better way if you can answer my queries mentioned below. Existing designer is impacting my development‌‌

  1. Is the designer slowness issue resolved in the new designer? 
  2. Will "Try Preview Designer” enable all the Standard Logic Apps in the same Resource Group or enable only a single Logic App (Standard)?
  3. Can i start using “Try Preview Designer” in my Development Logic Apps (Standard)?
    1. If yes, will the preview designer impact my Production Logic Apps (Standard)?
    2. Will the workflow source code format change in the new Preview designer? I hope no‌‌.
