For this session, we are thrilled to have Steve Adamo an Application Architect at Texas Childrens Hospital, who will discuss how low code and citizen development have provided quality of life improvements for staff, nurses, physicians, and volunteers. Steve talks through a handful of examples of quality of life improvement solutions that have been implemented and how Texas Children’s is looking to expand citizen development to become a standard option for solutions.
As you will hear in the recording, Texas Children's has hundreds of apps built in their organization but only a few were discussed, a few examples are:
Epic Change Control: This app provides Epic change control staff with the ability to manage change requests and approvals, working through the entire Epic workflow lifecycle.
NLCAT: The Nursing Leadership Competence Assessment Tool allows staff and nursing leadership the option to self-evaluate across a range of leadership functions to measure employee performance and identify employees with leadership potential.
Rideout Hoteling App: This provides end users with the means to book rooms and showers at various Rideout locations during an emergency and the admin app allows staff with the means to report on building capacity and employee locations
