I was really looking forward to this demo but the way it was presented was confusing and didn't provide the value I was hoping for. Instead of a real demo, the demo is a scripted presentation with screenshots that often don't match up with what the presenters are talking about. The first section is describing prompts and email formatting that aren't displayed. The second section is again talking about prompts in Excel that aren't shown. There are multiple times when the presenters say things like, "Now, I'll click ___," but it's just a screenshot that doesn't show any clicking, which makes it very hard to follow.
I understand that it can be difficult to do live demos, but what this demonstrated to me more than anything was that the presenters didn't trust Copilot to perform the actions they wanted to demonstrate. In trying to use Copilot myself (especially in Excel), I can understand why they were concerned. Copilot can be very finicky and often doesn't produce the results you'd expect/can't perform the tasks it suggests you request it to perform.
I'd love another attempt at this demonstration where you actually perform the tasks you're talking about. If it fails, that's okay. You can just edit that out, but a live - or almost live - demo is really what we need, as users, to fully understand how to make the most of Copilot.
Thanks for listening.
