By achieving its own sustainability commitments, it opens a path for smaller organizations to do the same by simply using Microsoft as their IT provider. One of the most obvious examples is shifting to Azure for cloud computing. All of Microsoft's data centers will run on 100% renewable energy by 2025, which means any organization using Azure gets the same benefit and reduction in its own carbon footprint.
