Thank you for your comment, I did read that article. But it creates the problem that I cannot see the original cost anywhere in Azure. The team responsible for the original subscriptions sees no cost hence cannot use cost to identify optimisations. As a Finops practitioner I can't either. And in the receiving subscriptions I see only the allocated part of the cost. Another detrimental result is that a cost spike in the original subscriptions is evened out over many cost receiving subscriptions resulting in the spike disappearing. Azure Portal has no alternative for me to track the original cost. Unfortunately I can't select Cost Allocation and group by meter subcategory in the current Azure Portal. I am blind for all cost which has been allocated.
