I've been unable to get Work Folders started up after it's been running without issue for several months. I restarted the server last night, and today the SyncShareSvc won't start. I'm getting "Windows could not start the Windows Sync Share on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code -2147024713." when starting the service manually. The Event Viewer log shows "The Windows Sync Share service terminated with the following service-specific error: General access denied error" with an ID of 7024, leading me to believe it's not a port conflict because the error is different from what's specified in this article.
I've also checked all my open ports and nothing is currently using 80 or 443 after stopping all IIS services.
