Neil_H110 currently you do not have SMB1 client installed (this is the default in most Windows 10 and Windows 11 editions). Considering how old that device is (LG says it's from 2010?), it requires SMB1. LG N2R1DD1.AVAR02I: Support, Manuals, Warranty & More | LG USA Support. LG itself only supports XP and Vista with this device.
- Click the checkbox on for SMB 1.0/CIFS client
- Reboot
- Your Windows device should see the LG-NAS in Explorer network and be able to connect to it
I highly, highly recommend you then copy all your data off this LG-NAS onto a new NAS you buy as soon as possible. Your NAS is very unsafe, both from security and reliability standpoint (at that age, its hard drive is likely to fail at any moment, and its need for SMB1 makes it very easy for someone to steal all of its data or take over your Windows devices).
