SMB1 now disabled by default for Windows 11 Home Insider

sorry if I am in the wrong place to ask this but cannot find an answer how to resolve this problem

so maybe you can give some advice how solving this

I have a PC that has Windows 11 OS

I have several PCs on my LAN network

In part, using the Windows 11 PC as a file server that has a directory in the public folder

I have no problems mapping to that directory with Windows 7, 8 and 10 P/C clients via LAN

My problem is the PCs that are XP when I try to connect to that Windows 11 PC

it errors out on XP clients, says it does not have the rights to map to it and to contact admin of Windows 11 PC

These same XP client PCs have no problems mapping a drive on another PC with Windows XP or 7

Password protection sharing is turned OFF and does not solve my issue

How do I correct this, so they also can map a drive of the Windows 11 PC ?

Is there a fix on Windows 11 PC or the XP clients, or both ?

All PCs are on the same local LAN

Also, very odd is the Windows 11 P/C when looking at P/Cs to connect and map to do not see the one P/C that has sharing turned on (using as a file server) that has Windows XP

Clearly something with Version 11 to allow connecting to XP P/Cs but has no issues as noted above for P/Cs using Windows 7,8 and 10 connecting and mapping to the Windows 11 P/C

Has to be a reason that all PC clients that use either MS XP, 7, 8, 10 have no problems seeing, connecting and mapped to shared directories of a PC with XP pro service pack 3 can cannot to that XP file server mapped

But Ver 7,8,10 can connect to PC with version 11 to shared mapped drives but the XP clients cannot, it sees it on network but trying to connect fails as the above screen print shows.

All are on same network, same workgroup and gets their TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS from central router

I see all of them as to their IP address on WI-FI / LAN network, so do not know why XP and ver 11 does not work together
