NedPyle I am not sure if you are responding to comments on this but I want to check my understanding.
If we have the following settings:
Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always) = Disabled
Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always) = Disabled
Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees) = Enabled
Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (if client agrees) = Enabled
Did we effectively turn off SMB signing for SMB 2+? Or will SMB2+ continue with SMB Signing?
We are looking to keep SMB2+ signing intact, but allow for SMBv1 to sign if both parties agree while we work on removing SMBv1 from the environment. Would this mean we would have to turn all of them to Enabled?
