My understanding is same as EriqStern (2505 is just symptom of network disconnect).
For me:
- I had a Win10 laptop with USB-C hub for years w/o issue. All devices plugged into that hub (power, ethernet, hdmi external monitor).
- I received a new Win11 laptop (Win 11 22000.527) and issue started immediately (using same hub as above).
- Issue would occur at least once per phone call / screenshare (audio would go out for 3-4 secs, then return)...sometimes 5-6 times / hour.
- Issue was occurring on WiFi and ethernet.
- Tried many of the (Windows config) suggestions discussed here, and could make the 2505 event go away, but never the root disconnect.
- On few occasions, the external display went out temporarily too.
Eventually I removed the hub (and just ran power directly to the Win11 laptop), and no issues for 4 weeks now. I suspect a compatibility issue between that hub and Windows 11. Currently waiting on a new hub.
