I keep finding the following recommended action when I look into the network connectivity issue:
Check if the Power Management settings for the WIFI adapter is configured correctly.
Press Windows key + R. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
In Run dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
Expand Network Adapters
Right click on the Network Adapter and click on Properties.
Now select the Power Management tab
Sounds good but the problem is, there is no Power Management tab when I select Network Adapter>Properties. The only thing that appears is a Network Adapters window with a General tab with the text "Network Adapters" appearing in the window. It's not selectable and there are no other tabs. There are also OK and Cancel buttons at the bottom of the window.
If I right click on the Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160 MHz entry when Network Adapters is expanded the available tabs are: General, Advanced, Driver, Details, Events and Resources. There is no Power Management selection, button, tab, icon, property.
As I mentioned above I have an Inspiron 13 5310 with Windows11 preinstalled. I purchased it in Dec. 2021. I keep the software updated.
There is no Power Management tab - am I overlooking something? Thanks.
