How the messenger is integrated to the OWA any explaination?

@Raman - according to data provided at TechEd09, RTM EX14 will force you to have primary mailbox and archive mailbox on the same database. EX14 SP1 will potentially allow separation of these mailboxes.

It is a good and informative blog.
I have been looking for the confirm answer related to Archiving.
When we create an archive mailbox do we have an option to create that archive mailbox on different database or entirely different server?
By defaul where this archive mailbox will be created?
