Heads up to readers: the links offered for parts 2 and 3 don't work (as I read this on 2/21/24). The correct links are:
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange-team-blog/part-2-reverse-proxy-for-exchange-server-2013-using-iis-arr/ba-p/592311
And
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange-team-blog/part-3-reverse-proxy-for-exchange-server-2013-using-iis-arr/ba-p/592308
For comparison, the failing link currently offered here to part 2 is:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2013/08/02/part-2-reverse-proxy-for-exchange-server-2013-using-iis-arr.aspx
The problem exists also in those other parts, pointing back to this. I'll add a comment there to help folks who may get taken directly to them.
While changing the blog posts to have the correct link would be appreciated, it would be nice if someone at MS would instead an implement a rewrite rule or map to convert the old style urls to the new. It really wastes our time to have to go digging for such corrected links (and relying on the search feature isn't alway effective).
