The_Exchange_Team Firstly, we love to tell you about what isn't working so I just want to say great work on the new Room Finder and bringing the Windows Desktop version up to speed with the browser/mac versions giving a consistent experience for all platforms, workspace type compatibility and "feature" filtering. Many in our enterprise only have access to webmail so when the feature appeared in webmail last year I made sure 1 room in each room list had a correct address in AD (we are hybrid) so that users would be able to find rooms during the migration to the new finder tool.
There are a few things I would like to suggest around this feature:
- I agree with Zoomer83 . We are UK based and floor 0 (often labelled "G") and basement levels (often labelled "B") don't show up. Set-Place -Floor seems to accept 0 and negative values but the filter option just moves from "Any" to "1".
- As ome changes seem to take many days to appear after setting the values. It would be good to have some clarity on how often the syncs take place so we can manage user expectations around when the room feature changes they requested will appear in their Room Finder .
- As Microsoft Teams Rooms are more widely rolled out it would be great to have a built in feature labelled something like "Microsoft Teams Room" with a Teams icon for easy filtering. "-isTeamsEnabled" with $true/$false would be ideal.
- Room Lists with resources across multiple cities only show under 1 city. Most Room Lists will be site specific but if you want to book a resource/workspace where the Room List has resources from multiple cities it will only show up in 1 City. It would be better for the list to appear in all the cities within the list).
