Navigation Pane

The Navigation pane in Excel is an easy way to understand a workbook's layout, see what elements exist within the workbook, and navigate directly to those elements. Whether you're a new user getting familiar with Excel, or an experienced user trying to navigate a large workbook, the Navigation pane can help.

Find and access elements such as tables, charts, PivotTables, and images within your workbook. Once you've opened the Navigation pane, it displays on the right side of the Excel window. The Navigation pane also makes it easier for those with visual impairments to access all parts of the workbook. It can improve how tools such as screen readers interpret your workbook. Read more here >

New DAX Functions in Excel Data Models and Power Pivot (Insiders Beta)

Excel’s Data Model and Power Pivot are tools that help you analyze data across multiple tables, and support a powerful expression language called DAX. Using the power of the Data Model, you can quickly relate various data sets to create PivotTables and Pivot Charts. Note that this is the same technology used by Power BI.

You can now use 92 new DAX functions when creating measures in Power Pivot. This provides you with new capabilities to analyze, visualize, and report on your data. Read more here >

New Paste Options when using keyboard shortcuts (Insiders Beta)

The NEW Dax Functions disappeared in the Insider beta builds.... Is this a short time issue or did you get a call from the Power BI Team to continue to keep Excel in the retarded mode

    Cheers

is there a reason that unique doesn't work with offset? (dynamic array)
I think the expected behavior is to generate unique for each region but it doesn't work.

    ex: =unique(offset(multi array1D))

    Hello,

Complementary to bells and whistles Excel updates, Excel cannot still tell the difference between hidden and visible cells. This is still a HUGE and unexpected behaviour because it introduces WYSIWYG principe violation and silent user's data lost when Excel users are deleting data in Excel filtered tables!!!

Since at least 12 years, this bug is referenced under Offbug 48323. Many others spreadsheets has already fixed this problem since a while.

The current implementation is definitely not correctly designed.

Can you please fix this ASAP because so many users are still being cheated by the wrong behaviour of Excel and simply lost so many data ?

    Kind regards

    Olivier
