The COPILOT function is a mistake and should be removed from Excel entirely. Think for one second about what happens when models change - how will businesses ensure forwards and backwards compatibility with previous analysis? you might as well push an update that wraps every arithmetic formula inside =RAND( ), just for funsies. Do not continue down this path.
The help page of the COPILOT function states that its hould never be used for numerical calculation and should not be used if accuracy or reproducibility is important. I am sure all the users will strictly adhere to these guidelines. Who needs accuracy or reproducibility in their business anyway ? It is all about generating pretty tables quickly, no ?
When this reaches general availability, I will buy a big bucket of popcorn. Can't wait for all the horror stories that will follow.
