I used to have an E5 Microsoft 365 subscription, it was fun while the $$ was still around. In these trying and difficult times $50.00usd a month is too steep for me. Maybe in the future I will re-subscribe, but not at this time. I don't know what features the free dev tenant can take advantage of, especially in the sharepoint arena where one can delve into the automation area like office scripts or flow or forms for excel. I'm generally interested in solutions that bridge the gaps for ERP systems where solutions to leverage reporting i.e. dax, power pivot, power query, excel, PBI, can come together to leverage combinations on solutions that for example a dynamically updating pivot table in excel by leveraging Power Query, PBI, Data Modeling, and maybe Office scrpts to automate sharepoint excel files or shared PBI dashboards. I have observed that the power pivot data model is a watered down version of PBI, it helps big corporations but for small business owners (that do not have the time) to develop their own solutions after working 120 hours a week just to run their business much less play around or pay a solution provider paying exhorbitant fees.... blah blah blah yada yada yada this that and the other thing. I think Microsoft should get that point and should consider helping with the growth of the country's economy to make people in this country win. Like a beauty product company once said, If you don't look good, we don't look good! That goes the same for this country, If the citizen's looks good and makes good, how can this country call itself a first world country? Maybe I'm overthinking this but the future does not look bright and everyone should take their shades off.
