Hey sowjvellore
Very much agree with your position. Perhaps here is an alternative solution to your problem that you might find is the better option. I am using Task Scheduler to automate opening one workbook and then that workbook opens other ones to accomplish my tasks. It is great for refreshing data in each file, completing some tasks in each one, saving each workbook and creating a file summary every morning. You may have to request IT to allow authorization to task scheduler. Otherwise, it works great and most likely even once the query has been updated to include Organizational data connections, we will still use Task Scheduler method because it has been absolutely wonderful, works flawlessly. I have found, when using Power Automate, over time, flow modules get updated and no longer work. No warning or anything. Your users say the cool automated thing you made is broke again. Which causes loss of confidence in what was built and extra work to go in and diagnose what changed, fix your flow. I have found that Power Automate has a long way to go before true functional organizational use. I still remain positive it will be something great in the future. Best of luck and in the meantime, I hope I shared something that may help you out.
