Excel for good: Working together to find increased efficiencies in the fight against the coronavirus

Today we share another story of our global community coming together.

A collaboration between our MVPs Jane (JieYing) Fang and Zhaoxiong Shi working together to help communities across China find increased efficiencies in their on-going effort to fight the spread of the coronavirus.

To understand the spread of the virus, communities started logging travel patterns, using pen and paper. They needed a more efficient way.

Jane suggested using Forms and Excel to collect data, and with help from Zhaoxiong, they wrote Visual Basic for Applications code to process the data.  Read more >
