Thanx for the feedback folks! My follow-ups to your questions:

- On "these improvements are necessary to desktop version" and "will expect to see in desktop version soon." - we are working on enabling Check Performance in Desktop as we speak. I'll update this blog when it gets closer to rolling out to external users. 

- On "Hopefully this tool will be extended" - we do have a TODO list on more patterns to detect and optimize away to add to Check Performance. Your feedback helps us prioritize what's most impactful on it. Thanx for your list. 

- On "any more generalized work happening to improve performance in large workbooks" - Speeding up long running calculations is an area we are looking into speeding-up as well however I'd like to also understand why your calculation is resulting in a "hang/crash.". Would you be willing to share with us a copy of your workbook for further analysis? The data can / should be obfuscated, or it could be a simplified as long as we can reproduce the problem. If you are willing, we can take the next part offline to work this out, including privacy / confidentiality concerns.
