Regarding your ounces question, format the cell has #,##0" oz". Then, go to conditional formatting (ALT + O + D), add a new rule =MOD(A1,1)>0 (assuming the cell is A1!) and add number formatting #,##0.00" oz". The MOD function will determine simply when A1 is not an integer.
