I discovered STOCKHISTORY this morning, and have spent most of the day with it. It's great with one MAJOR exception:
Even with manual calculation, and with only two STOCKHISTORY formulas in my workspace, STOCKHISTORY takes over my computer every few minutes. This freezes my mouse for 10 to 20 seconds, at a time, and then, when it's momentarily free so that I can click on some other app in the taskbar, it degrades my mouse movements in the other app, as well.
The time between between opening the STOCKHISTORY workbook and having the problem can vary significantly. This problem occurs even when the history that the function is reporting is decades old and has no reason ever to recalc.
(I just opened the two-formula workbook again, and it's now working with no problem. This is weird. Could it have anything to do with differing loads on Refinitiv's servers?)
Earlier today, I returned the closing price for the 500 companies that currently have the highest market cap. I didn't think that I'd ever again have enough control over my mouse again to close that workbook!
